The Arrogant Worms, Canadian ambassadors of fun, return to Sechelt on Monday, Feb. 22.

Their performance, set for 7:30 p.m., is at the Raven's Cry Theatre.

The Arrogant Worms have sold more than 150,000 copies of their 12 albums and played on three continents to crowds as large as 100,000. Recognized in 2003 as the Touring Act of the Year by the Canadian Arts Presenters' Association, The Worms' songs are in school lesson plans and textbooks and were even played on the Space Shuttle. On earth or in space, everyone digs these Worms.

Canada's public offered the best praise so far by selecting their song, Canada Is Big, as one of the songs for the inauguration of U.S. President Barack Obama. The Arrogant Worms continue to provide tuneful and silly escapism for everyone who needs it. And if you think you don't need it, you're wrong. You do. Especially now.

Tickets for their show are $25 in advance or $28 at the door, available at WindSong Gallery, online at www.hightideconcerts.net or at the Raven's Cry Theatre. See more about the group at www.arrogantworms.com.
