A sound bath for your soul

Sunshine Coast Threshold Singers

Slow down, you’re moving too fast. Come and experience gentle, nurturing song, followed by tea and conversation on Friday, Feb. 20, from 8 to 9 p.m. with the Sunshine Coast Threshold Singers.

Threshold Singers offer the gift of song for people who are seriously ill, dying or grieving — in homes, hospitals, hospices and care facilities. The songs are simple messages of love and kindness, which soothe, comfort and bring peace. When singing at bedsides, a small group sings quietly, sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the individual and family.

Threshold is a service of the Sunshine Coast Hospice Society. Threshold singers have no religious affiliation and honour all spiritual paths. Family members and caregivers are invited to participate by listening or singing along. This service is our gift; there is no cost.

Threshold welcomes new members; they meet on the first and third Friday of each month at the Kirkland Centre in Davis Bay at 4602 Simpkins Road, just down the road from St. John’s United Church.
