Last week Doug and Deb Proby announced that after 22 years of profitability, they had sold the Raven’s Cry Theatre business. The new owners, though, are practically neighbours.

Cedar Grove School’s inaugural Light up the Night Lantern Festival was a great success judging by the turnout and excited students showing their parents around. I enjoyed a delicious bowl of vegetarian chili and bought some yummy goodies.

This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31, the Pender Harbour Music Society is proud to present the very gifted musicians, Kai Gleusteen on violin and Catherine Ordronneau, piano. Tickets are at Harbour Insurance and www.penderharbourmusic.

A reminder to all Halfmoon Bay runners and walkers that the BMO Sunshine Coast April Fool’s Run, presented by Eastlink, is Sunday, April 7. You can register by April 3 and save. There is also the kids’ run, which has a limited entry of 50.
