Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of June 16!

  • Kisses to Justin at Coastal Green for his excellent recommendations that gave me my first blissfully pain free, successful sleep night in ages. Your help and kindness are so gratefully appreciated. Top notch service. A real credit to the business. Huge hugs from a truly thankful and finally rested customer.
  • Humongous healing hugs to all the staff at Sechelt Hospital. From the emergency department to the specialist, doctors nurses & all diligent workers ... Thank you for caring for our blessed mother!
  • Kicks to the “lazy” residents in Woodcreek Park who pick up their mail but leave their junk mail on top of the boxes or in the newspaper box. The box provided is for the Coast Reporter and I’m sure the gentleman delivering the papers on Friday is not keen on recycling your junk mail. Take it home!
  • Kisses and many thanks to the generous and kind hearted bus drivers who honoured my lost May bus pass by giving me a day pass saying, “You’ve already paid.”  I will be more careful.
  • Many belated but heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rachel Spence and Ms Sharon Saliganan for easing our Shadow over the Rainbow Bridge with such tenderness. You helped us through that sad time.
  • Kudos and kisses to the thoughtful lady at The Mad Hen on Sunday May 28 for paying for my breakfast, I shall pay it forward, many thanks.
  • Kisses to Capilano Highway Services staff (presumably) for sweeping highway shoulders in time for Go-by-Bike week; it must have been very dusty work! Kudos from an appreciative West Sechelt cyclist.
  • Kicks to the lady in the grey van that left her little girl in a child car seat. Mid-day with a bag of chips as she took her little son and went into the Sunnycrest Mall. Can’t leave a dog in that heat why a child?
  • Kicks for letting it happen... if they cut down the old heritage Black Walnut in lower Gibson’s. It’s a beautiful landmark. And totally not gonna fall down. A very nice specimen.
  • Hilarious high-fives to Veanna at Fields...you made our shopping experience joyful! Thank you!
  • Kicks, yet again, to the people who take their pets into grocery stores.
  • PETS are not allowed in grocery stores. This is not rocket science.
