Trail runners give back

Trail Bay Source for Sports hosted their first annual Trail Running Group this past summer and it was a tremendous success. The group consisted of 15 to 20 enthusiastic runners of all abilities who challenged themselves on six different trails over a six-week period. All money raised through registration for joining the group was put back in to the community by way of purchasing five pairs of shoes for families in need on the Coast. Josh Romer of Trail Bay Source for Sports (left) and Steve Oka of the Sunshine Coast Community Foundation teamed up to make this happen.
