The Sunshine Coast Skating Club’s Skater of the Month for October is Alexa Kovski. Alexa moved up to StarSkate last year and would have competed in her first StarSkate competition in March. Unfortunately due to COVID, no competitions could take place. Alexa has been working hard since getting back on the ice in Gibsons and is working on her new Pink Panther solo. She is polite, respectful, and eager to learn new things. Alexa is 10 years old and is in Grade 5.  She loves everything about skating but the two things she really likes are learning new elements and seeing her progress. Her favourite thing is doing jumps. When not skating she enjoys drawing, playing with friends, doing gymnastics and silks. Keep up the good work, Alexa!
