Elphi girls tied for first

The Grade 9 girls volleyball team at Elphinstone Secondary played a home game versus Sentinel Secondary on Oct. 21 and won 3 to 1.

The Elphi girls have lost only one game so far and are currently tied in first place out of seven with Handsworth Secondary in the West Division of the North Shore Secondary Sports Association.

The girls finished a single round robin play on Monday, Oct. 26 with a game versus Rockridge. This week the team was preparing for play-offs, with quarterfinals on Oct. 28 and possibly semi-finals on Nov. 2.
