Blues take gold

A group of nine and 10-year-old Sunshine Coast hockey players had an extra reason to be thankful after winning gold at the Richmond Ice Breaker Tournament on Thanksgiving weekend. After trailing 4-1 against Oceanside in the finals, the Atom A Blues came back to win 7-5 on Monday, Oct. 14. Players pictured: Gage Allen, Carter Bell, Alan Bloemhard, Jaden Brackett, Ethan Croteau, Chance Fodchuk, Sebastian Gilfillan, Owen Hurlbut, Landon Kelly, Owen Kelly, Lucas Lekakis, Jakson Stevenson, Tyler Wing, and Jaden Wingfield.
