Blue Ocean Golf club welcomes 21 new junior members

A new season of golf for junior members was launched on Monday, March 9 at Blue Ocean Golf Club, with Chris Lowe of Lowe Golf Scores hosting an orientation welcoming the 21 new members.

The event was sponsored by funds raised through the inaugural Juniors’ Charity Invitational Golf Tournament held last year in July. Parents and juniors enjoyed the fantastic weather during the orientation along with refreshments and a fun putting contest for the youths.

Ken Langdon, general manager at Blue Ocean Golf, said it was exciting to see the growth of the junior membership. “I look forward to seeing them increase their skills and welcome the energy these young members will bring to our course.”

The new junior members will enjoy unlimited golf on the course, full access to the driving range with a daily bucket of range balls, accessories and free monthly lessons donated by Chris Lowe.

The 2020 Juniors’ Charity Invita-tional date has been set for July 11. Sponsorship opportunities and registration to play are now available at lowegolfscores.com.
