Editor: The federal NDP is currently under fire for using taxpayers’ money for political advertising, around a million dollars in partisan mailings.

Editor: I am a mechanic, long-time member of the Sunshine Coast Drag Racing Association (SCDRA) and volunteer in our schools where we have recently established a high school drag racing program.

An open letter to Christy Clark: I am a Grade 6 student at Gibsons Elementary School. At school, we were going to go on an amazing field trip to Bard on the Beach and see A Midsummer Night’s Dream because we are doing that play at school.

Editor: My son has special needs. The B.C. Ministry of Education is supposed to provide programs, skills and educational training for him.

Editor: I have worked as an education assistant (EA) for more than 20 years. I see first hand the effects of class size and composition on the ability of teachers to cope and teach effectively.

Editor: We are not children who need a detention, as suggested by editor Ian Jacques in his editorial of May 30. We are adults fighting for the education system in our province.

Editor: Re: District of Sechelt satisfaction survey: Thank you for another good summary of our work for the District of Sechelt. The May 30 Coast Reporter included a letter from Valerie Ruhe, who didn’t appreciate the report.
