Editor: It seems like the inmates are trying to run the asylum once again. I, too, would like to see COVID restrictions removed but we can’t let protesters using intimidation tactics succeed.

Editor: We are hearing daily how sick to death people are of COVID-19 and the restrictions on our day-to-day lives that have resulted from it.

Editor: In the Jan. 28 Coast Reporter, I was dismayed to read the headline “No Trail Bay Waterfront Boulevard upgrades for now.

Editor: With regard to the interesting letters in last week’s Coast Reporter about media bias (“Media Bias on display at trucker rally”), and feline rights (“Kitties’ rights and freedoms”): 1.

Editor: This is the first time I have been hesitant to write a letter to our small community paper. I went back and forth and decided that our freedom and rights cannot stand if we remain silent. The bullies win. Ottawa.

Editor: If the democratic process says the majority rules why is the minority thinking the rules shouldn’t apply to them? The first trucker I saw interviewed during the protest said he had no problem getting vaccinated, he just didn’t wan
