Re: More user-friendly rec facilities (Coast Reporter letters, Aug. 24).
We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Jim Gray and the fastball league that was inconvenienced at Brothers Park a few weekends ago.
We are sorry, had we had notice of your tournament the washrooms, extra garbage receptacles, etc. would have been prepared for you. Gibsons staff would have checked throughout the day to see if everything was in order for you, too. This is not to say that it was the league's fault, as this is not the case. To ensure this mishap does not occur again, we ask everyone to contact us for your tournaments and any other special field events so we can make sure everything is in place for you.
Jim Gray you are an inspiration to us all, and we should be so lucky to continue to be so active over all those years. Thanks for writing.
