I would like to express my admiration and appreciation for those brave souls that stood for election in the SCRD. Yes, people were screaming water water water, and possibly the same people are screaming, now that the bill has come in. We can’t have water infrastructure without paying for it. Perhaps we need a water-rate deferral system, like our house taxes, for those in need.
