Advance warning to all those who are about to receive their water bill from the SCRD. No need to call them about the 43 per cent increase over what I received last year to pay for water. The nice lady at SCRD just referred me to Bylaw 422. And you know what? She was spot on. There it is in black and white. The new rate is $410.85.
This senior is weighing the options – food bank or halving my prescriptions.
