Thanks for the concern

On Sunday, someone left a note on our car that read: "It's hot, let me out." To the person who thinks he or she knows better than I do about my dog, thank you for your kind letterleft under my windshield wiper.

Did you know that what you thought was a hot dog had just comeback from a one-hour run, that he was panting because dogs don't perspire, that he had a bowl of water on the floor of the car and that he had been let out while we were away from the car?

What you think is hot, he thinks of as resting. Of course, he likes to watch what's going on around him, so he sits up and pants and watches the world go by.

However, your concern is noted, and don't forget that the SPCA is always looking for volunteers.
