Thanks to all who participated in the Gibsons' rally in support of Alexandra Morton's campaign to remove fish farms from wild salmon migration routes.
The Get Out Migration's culminating rally at the Legislature on Saturday, May 8, drew thousands of supporters. Ms. Morton's message to the crowd was simple, "over to you!" She stated "they (government authorities) are immune to me now," and are ignoring all scientific evidence showing the dangers open-net farms pose to the wild stock. It is time for the public to demand an end to this destructive practice. If you want to protect the wild salmon, a creature so vital to our eco-system, our economy, our spiritual and physical well-being you must act now. Contact your MLA, member of Parliament, and municipal government and make your voice heard.
