Early on April 27, our youngest son was involved in a horrific accident on Highway 101. His multiple injuries were severe and life threatening. His life was saved by the rapid response and professionalism of the local paramedics, firemen and RCMP. For that we are forever grateful. His recovery, while it will take time, has so far been miraculous.

We would also like to thank the local SPCA, who recovered his dog Bear, who had run from the scene. When our son awoke from his five-day coma and was able to begin communicating, hearing that Bear survived and was OK, helped a great deal in his recovery.
