There is a very progressive movement spreading through universities and colleges across the United States, and that is the ban of plastic bottled water sales because of the unethical degradation caused from resource used to make, ship and then not recycle, but down-cycle the billions of bottles popping out of vending machines yearly.
Here we are with our world-renowned water, and the Sunshine Coast Recreation centres, grocery stores and several cafés have been suckered into the world's greatest advertising hoax and are selling bottled water.
Take one very simple step towards saying no to a giant corporation making a ton of money at the planet's expense and fill your bottle at home or at a fountain. Save your money for an extra turn at the squash court, veggies at the grocery store or dessert at a café; that way you can also avoid that dose of BHt and stay healthier.
It is a win win.
