Editor:
Overheard at last Saturday's info session for the proposed "The George" hotel in Lower Gibsons: "Oh, I sure hope you're pro-development."
Also, "This is the dark side of capitalism."
Neither of these two sentiments should influence any proposal, yet many people, it seems, showed up with dogmatic blinkers firmly in place.
I'm sick of closed minds with big mouths pretending to engage in community affairs. What we need on the Coast is thoughtful discussion and analysis about any change, or the lack of it.
