Just a short note to your parks department to thank you for mounting the dolphin stump on the Davis Bay seawall.
It now rests resplendent for all seawall walkers to view and to rejoice in the knowledge that not all civic bodies are straight, staid and unsentimental; where open-space art has a special place in our community. Let's have more of it.
The members of our group would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for your foresight and diligence in picking up on our somewhat whimsical suggestion to appropriately place this artful stump.
