When are we going to get our priorities right? How do you justify paying actors or professional athletes two, three, four times more a year than the doctor, nurse or other health-care worker who helped save your life? I enjoy sports and movies for the entertainment value. But when your health is in jeopardy, who you gonna call … Ghost Busters, an impersonal athlete or the family physician who cares? This COVID-19 pandemic has shown the world where our most valuable human resources are. Let’s pay them accordingly.
