Response to the letter from SCRD chair Lori Pratt (“Working on the water,” April 5).
We all appreciate chair Lori Pratt keeping us informed, but it seems an omission has occurred.
Again, no mention of long term water planning?
When is this government going to understand our water woes will never be solved unless the long-term picture is brought into focus to help guide us through the current piecemeal practice. The window of opportunity is now, but why is nobody paying attention?
Even when the agenda for the April 18 infrastructure committee meeting is scanned there is no mention of extending contracts to investigate options, i.e.: Clowhom.
It is not the least difficult to understand why the electorate are alarmed.
