I took in the recent pitch of local entrepreneur Klaus Fuerniss outlining his personal vision for Gibson's Landing.
After dreaming wistfully about my future trip to the new gymnasium, followed by a visit to the new spa, then on to breakfast at the new five-star restaurant, on my way past all the local art to my meeting at the new conference centre, my rapture was interrupted and my thoughts gravitated to an important question the highly-polished presentation left unanswered.
How much is Mr Fuerness' generous gift of bringing a little bit of West Vancouver to the Sunshine Coast going to cost the taxpayers of Gibsons?
