Easy to be critical

Change is inevitable for any living organism. As a community, we are a living, growing, changing entity, and this needs to be recognized and understood by the group that mobilizes every time to protest any and all changes proposed in the community.

Being mayor and council is a trying experience. It's an education in human interaction, and as the delegate in any of these positions, you're damned if you do, and damned if you don't. So where does a resident draw the line?

Instead of everyone getting up in arms over concerns about the company hired to complete this project, why not consider the potential that Veolia has worked out the bugs and will complete our state of the art project to world class standards. Why not thank the hard-working mayor and council for making good on the promises from their election campaign? It's far easier to criticize, slander and point fingers.

Please consider the gravity of the responsibilities that our elected officials have agreed to undertake before condemning their decisions based on a few fear mongers.
