I am rather disturbed that one road is being given preferential treatment in the entry and exit to the Gospel Rock development.
I would have thought it would be fair to have multiple access roads rather than dumping all the traffic onto Shaw Road.
I would like to suggest the following access roads: Shaw Road for shopping, ferry access and points north; Franklin Road for the marina, restaurants and general Lower Gibsons activities; Gower Point Road for access to Secret Beach and Gospel Rock; and Chaster Road for access to Cedar Grove Elementary School, garden shops, the Esplanade beaches and the fire hall. Surely we have enough traffic on the highway now with that ridiculous new set up. This would be much safer for emergency vehicles.
