This letter is to inform Sunshine Coast residents of some very recent operational changes affecting our Community Resource Centre (CRC) Society.

Many community residents have had a personal commitment and involvement in and through programs and services offered by the Resource Centre since our incorporation as a society 18 years ago. Like many organizations today, we are facing tight financial times. In the interest of good stewardship and long-term sustainability, our spending must fit within the Centre's available funding parameters.

The Resource Centre will need to implement a number of service delivery changes that will affect the programs we are able to offer in the future. However, the Society is very committed to keeping community needs front and centre as we transition through these challenging times. Although we are not at this time exactly sure of the extent of these changes, we want to confirm the CRC will continue to be one of the Sunshine Coast's key service providers.

We are so very appreciative of all the support community members, clients, our partner agencies, funders, volunteers and staff have provided to the society over the years and want to invite and welcome your continued involvement with our organization.

The Centre will be open by appointment only for all programs we provide. The computer drop-in program has been cancelled. To schedule an appointment, please call 604-885-4088.

We will keep the community aware of all changes and encourage individuals, and please call the Centre to discuss and share your suggestions, thoughts and comments.

Also, please feel free to contact our board chair Tracy at tracy@wiseworkdesigns.com or the Centre's Executive Director Sue at ED@communityresourcecentre.info.
