Cats ought to be outside

Last weekend I had a visit from Happy Cat Haven. They informed me that one of my neighbours had made a complaint about the cats in this area going into their yard and disrupting the birds they feed. This makes me very angry - for one how the neighbours went about it. They never tried to contact the cat's owners, instead bypassed that and went to complain.

I am a very reasonable person, and if they had come and talked to me about my cat, I would keep him more inside.

I understand not everyone likes cats, but let's be reasonable here. It's how nature works. Cats might kill a few birds, but they also kill mice and rats, and I'm pretty sure most people don't like those.

My cat is not much of a killer. He's more of a lazy roll around on the ground kind of guy. But I would like him to have the option to run around outside and explore and do other cat things. But because of these people complaining, I have to keep him inside, just so they can keep feeding their precious birds.
