I love the palm trees - they are very pleasing to the eye. One thinks of being on vacation.
The previous foliage was a dangerous visibility factor for drivers leaving Sunnycrest Mall.
I have to wonder why having diverse landscapes through the main street of a town would cause concern for anyone.
I remember years ago Nanaimo planted palm trees on the exit from the ferry terminal. I always thought how attractive and different it was to have palm trees growing in B.C. To this day, when I think of Nanaimo, I think of those palm trees.
I would like to think that any tourists driving through Gibsons would have similar thoughts. Palm trees in Gibsons - what a great way to be remembered.
