The pure hypocrisy shown by Colin Hansen and his ever shrinking club has risen to a level we have not seen in our province's history. In his sad and pathetic attempt to convince Elections B.C. to somehow void the public's will to express their feelings through legal means via the citizens initiative, he digs his hole even deeper in this mess that he and the premier have created. Using his logic, the 2009 election would in fact be null and void, as clearly this election was won on a fraudulent platform.
The harmonized sales tax was not a tough decision. That is part of any government's duties. This was a sucker punch to all of the citizens of B.C. across all party lines, knowing full well that telling the truth would not have been in their small circle's best interests. When did we the people become such an inconvenience to him, our premier and the rest of the sheep they have power over in Victoria?
A few weeks ago they blamed Vander Zalm. Now they and others in their clique blame the citizens for wanting to sign their names on a legal petition. If this misguided group wants to lay blame as to why we are in this terrible mess, they can quite easily do that the next time they look in the mirror. I have to thank him though, the more he talks, the more signatures we get. Coincidence?
