Editor: This is a long over due thank you to the Rotary Club of Sechelt for the wonderful work they have done repairing the bridges in Kinikinnick Park. My wife and I walk our dog there regularly and it is much appreciated what they have done.

Recently I listened to a presentation by Canadian Gem Munro. Who is he, you ask? That's a question not quickly answered. Munro is a published author who, I dare say, boldly goes where few of us would.

Editor: First of all I want to congratulate Sechelt mayor and council for their wise decision to put in a complete sewage treatment system instead of doing it piece-meal as former councils have wanted to do it.

Editor: First off, let me offer a sincere kudos to the mayor and council for their delivered promise of a state-of-the-art sewage treatment plant, which will bring much deserved recognition and attention to the Sunshine Coast.

Editor: Thank you John Gleeson for your insightful column (Coast Reporter, Feb. 15) about fracking. It was refreshing to see something in the print media about how the oil industry controlled the Alberta election.

Editor: It is thrilling that Sechelt council has fulfilled its election promises to begin building a state-of-the-art, odourless and green waste water treatment plant. They deserve big kudos for the work that they put into this project.
