Editor: This is my generation.

Editor: For years students of this community have designed banners to be hung along Cowrie Street and Wharf Avenue in Sechelt. A theme is set by volunteers of the Sunshine Coast Art Centre and the students submit designs for the banners.

Editor: Premier Christy Clark, the Bank of England and Antarctica all share deep concerns about frozen assets. Clark’s LNG frozen assets are waiting patiently backstage to enter as the sparkly-toothed hero with the sly and cunning plan to cure B.C.

Editor: Crazy. According to Prime Minister Harper, this is how we should view putting any restrictions on the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by the fossil fuel industry.

Editor: I would like to inform Rexall management about all the loyal, hardworking staff at Shoppers Drug Mart in Sechelt. It is in Rexall’s interest to keep these dedicated employees when Rexall takes over this store.

Editor: All that is left now are the echoes of her little footfalls, the fleeting traces of her essence, which infused me with her for the last five years day and night.

Past Deadline

Editor: We are pleased to announce that, thanks to your support, over $2 million was raised in British Columbia and the Yukon from the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Over $16 million was raised in Canada for research and patient services.

Editor: A letter in the Dec. 12 edition said, “clear-cut logging destroys biodiversity.” I would respect Elphinstone Logging Focus’s (ELF) arguments for preserving forest areas if they stuck more closely to scientific logic.
