A pre-Christmas tradition on the Sunshine Coast has come to an end.
“The Yuletide Fair held annually in November at Living Faith Lutheran Church in Davis Bay is no more,” the church said in a release Tuesday, explaining that the church’s craft group and fair founders, active for more than 20 years, “have sadly chosen to disband.”
“This wildly popular event featuring baking, crafts and gifts, home canned goods as well as Max’s famous seafood chowder, will be missed by many,” the church said. “The hard-working members of the craft group are most sincerely thanked and wished a well-earned rest.”
