RCMP seek assistance in identifying suspect

Sunshine Coast RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation into a break and enter at the FortisBC facility near Port Mellon Highway that occurred during the early morning hours of July 11.

Sunshine Coast RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation into a break and enter at the FortisBC facility near Port Mellon Highway that occurred during the early morning hours of July 11.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking with his dog at the facility on July 11 at approximately 2 a.m. The male is wearing a black mask, grey hooded sweatshirt, black and white high top shoes. His dog is black and white.

The suspect stole two new red Honda EU200i generators. RCMP believe he entered the facility by digging a hole under a fence.
