The Hitmen defeated the Gibsons Marks Cutters in a tight fought match to take the opening game of the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) Adult Hockey League tournament on Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Sechelt arena.
Over the next few weeks, all five teams will play each other once in a round robin style tournament with the top two teams advancing to a best-of-three final on March 8, 10 and 12.
