The third annual Mountain Grind was held along the Suncoaster Trail in Pender Harbour on Saturday, April 22.
This year’s race was reportedly “more challenging in terms of the slightly longer course, more obstacles and lots of rushing water hazards courtesy of this year’s weather” than last year’s, but that did not deter the 298 participants (170 women and 128 men) who signed up for the challenging and fun, family-friendly 10km obstacle race.
First overall was Damian Towns of North Vancouver in 47:06 (see full results at www.sportstats.ca).
