This past week during spring break, the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) recreation programs in conjunction with the Suncoast Racquet Club ran a tennis camp for 6-8 and 9-12 year olds.
The program was the first joint effort between the SCRD and the racquet club, and recreation programs staff are hoping to run more in the future. Please check the SCRD website for this summer’s programs.
The Suncoast Racquet Club – located at 6000 Lighthouse Road – houses two courts with state-of-the-art surfaces and lighting plus a lounge, kitchen, change rooms and meeting room. It was completed in 2008 and is the only indoor tennis facility on the Coast.
