The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had two skaters compete at the BC Coast Region Star 5-Gold competition held in Vancouver Nov. 19 to 21.
Demi Mckevitt performed for the first time in Star 5 and Teigan Turner brought home a Silver Medal in the Star 7 Artistic.
The club had five skaters compete at the BC Coast Regional Jingle Blades/Star 1-5 Competition held in North Surrey Nov. 27 to 28.
Brielle Avila Star 4, Halle McHeffey Star 4, Eva Alvarez bringing home a Gold Assessment Star 2, Alexa Kovski Silver Assessment in Star 2 and Sasha McDougall Solis Gold Assessment Star 1.
This is the first time these skaters have been able to compete in person for two years and we are very proud of their perseverance and achievement.
