A total of 117 players took the challenge of two days on the fast greens and smooth fairways. The golf course once again received rave reviews. Avery Struck repeated as Women’s Champion, besting the field by an impressive 17 strokes. Bill Sneddon also defended his Senior Men’s title with a two-day total of three under par. This was Sneddon’s third Senior Championship in the event. Women’s Net winner was Linda Code, edging Gloria Michael in a countback. Both players declined the option of a playoff.
Steve Wade of Langara Golf Course won the Senior Men’s Net Title with a two-day total of net 134. In the men’s division Doug Chivers of Marine Drive was the winner. He managed a two-day total of one under par. The net winner was Sunshine Coast G&CC member Glenn Borgenstrom with a total of 136.
