Halfmoon Bay’s Avery Struck (pictured right) played her first event of the season last week, finishing in a tie for sixth place out of 90 golfers at the Central Region Fall Preview at the Prairie Highlands Golf Club in Olathe, Kan.
Struck shot 76 in her first round then followed up her strong performance with a second round score of 79 to finish with a 155 (+11) and a tie for sixth place.
Struck plays for the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns. The team came away with a tie for second place. She is playing in Carmel, Indiana this week in the UIndy Invitational at the Prairie View Golf Course.
