The Sunshine Coast Skating Club (SCSC) board of directors and professional coaches would like to acknowledge the dedicated program assistants Kate Nelson (left) and Madison Welch for their many hours of volunteering and helping in the successful delivery of CanSkate.

Some of the benefits of being a program assistant are: volunteer hours for school credit; experience on a resume and letter of reference; and learning the importance of giving back to the club and community.

If you have any previous skating experience, are over the age of 12, and are interested in being a program assistant for the SCSC in the 2016-17 season, please contact director of skating Lesleigh Farr.
