Alana Bedlington, who is enrolled in Grade 3 at Kinnikinnick Elementary, was named Skater of the Month for November. Alana moved into Jr. Academy partway through this season and has been rising to the occasion. She is young, eager and respectful of her teammates and her coaches. She participates in both the on- and off-ice classes. Her speed, skills, and self-esteem continue to improve as a result.
“I love to skate ’cause it’s my passion, and love the new friends I have made. Also my coaches are the best,” Alana said. “My favourite thing in skating is the off-ice exercises and skating fast. When I am not skating, I like to dance, sing, and swim.”
