Brielle Avila is seven years old and attends Grade 2 at Cedar Grove Elementary.
Brielle moved up from CanSkate to Junior Academy this season and has shown great commitment and rapid improvement. She displays a great work ethic, sportsmanship, and kindness to her fellow skaters.
“Brielle gives 110 per cent and no excuses – keep up the good work!” coach Lesleigh Farr said.
Brielle said her favourite part of skating is that “it makes me happy and makes me try new things.” When she is not skating, Brielle said she likes to play the violin, go swimming, ride her bike, and play with friends – and, of course, “practise skating on land!” Brielle said.
