Nine-year-old Scarlett McLash is the Sunshine Coast Skating Club’s Skater of the Month.
The Grade 4 student has just moved into the StarSkate figure skating program and is showing great progression and motivation and a good work ethic.
Scarlett’s favourite thing about skating is practising her flips.
“I love the challenge and that every day, there’s a new thing to learn,” she said.
Scarlett’s coach describes her as polite, respectful and motivated.
When she’s not skating, Scarlett likes to read and practice shototkan karate.
