Sechelt Sustainable Community will host the second annual Sechelt Paddling Festival on Aug. 21. Come and join local clubs, outfitters, artisans and performers in a day of fun and fulfilment on the foreshore of the beautiful Sechelt Inlet.
The canoe played an important and integral role in the culture and history of Sechelt and the shíshálh Nation. All forms of paddled watercraft remain an important part of the transportation and recreation fabric of our community.
