Roller Derby is back July 11

Red Tide Warning

The Sunshine Coast Roller Girls travel team Red Tide Warning is set to play their second home game of the season on July 11 at the Sechelt Arena.

They are playing their “frenemies” from Squamish – The Sea to Sky Sirens.

It promises to be a good match as a friendly rivalry has developed between these two teams.

Feeling strong after their last win at home and a two-day, four-game exhibition tournament in Vancouver two weeks ago, the team is ready to showcase their best game for the fans.

Red Tide Warning has partnered with Arrow-head Centre and as such will be donating some proceeds from each game, and offering a table and volunteer opportunities to their membership at each bout.

Tickets will be available at the door. The event is family friendly and will have a beer garden and food trucks, music and children’s activities at half time – a great way to spend a summer night

Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Sechelt Arena.
