The Sunshine Coast Roller Girls may have cancelled their July bout due to the Old Sechelt Mine Fire, but they will be back with a vengeance to play against Nanaimo’s Harbour City Betties on Saturday, Sept. 12 in the Sunshine Coast Arena in Sechelt.
The last time these two teams met, there was only a one point differential at the end of the game. Such a tight score is almost unheard of in roller derby. Both teams are looking for the win this time.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the game starts at 6. Tickets can be purchased at the door. New players are welcome.
