The Inlet Raiders will be looking for revenge on Feb. 28 as they take on the North Shore Canadians in a special exhibition game at the Sunshine Coast Arena.

Last year, the Raiders' were gracious hosts, serving up a 10-3 loss to the Canadians.

The Canadians lead the North Shore Adult Hockey Association's top division with a 12-3-3 record. The division's level of play is equal to Lower Mainland's other premier hockey league, Burnaby 8-Rinks' First Division.

The Canadians tied the Raiders 1-1 in their first match-up two years ago. The North Shore team is slated to ice nine regulars from their full-time lineup, plus an assortment of regular call-ups.

The rematch is slated for a 7:15 p.m. face-off at the arena and will be just the start of a great night of hockey fun at the rink.

While the Raiders and Canadians tangle on the ice, patrons can enjoy a big screen hockey event in the lounge as the Vancouver Canucks battle the St. Louis Blues.

As an added bonus, the arena is hosting a Good Old Hockey party in the lounge, featuring local band Walter Ego starting at 9 p.m. The party is theme wear - you are asked to wear the hockey jersey of your choice. Prizes will be awarded for the most original or oldest jersey.

If all this isn't enough, at 9:30 p.m. the Sechelt and Gibsons fire departments will play a fun, challenge hockey game.

Tickets for the Raiders' game in the bleachers only are $2.50. For the hockey party, tickets are $7.50, which includes a cover charge for the lounge. All tickets are available at the arena concession stand.
