The 20th annual Pro Am to Benefit Junior Golf was hosted at the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club on Friday, June 2. Seventeen teams enjoyed a great day on the course raising money for kids’ golf. This year over $3,000 was contributed towards youth golf lessons, programs, equipment and support for competitive players.
Champion Bryn Parry shot 65 to win by four strokes in the Professional Division. His team also won.
Amateur Team Champions included Guy Hazelton, Andrew Turenne, Dennis Turenne and Andy Hopkinson.
Special appreciation to Andy Hopkinson of BMO, the tournament sponsor, and Jamie Flemming for his work fundraising for the event.
