All Star Wrestling was back on the Coast for a night of mayhem during the November Nightmare Tour on Nov. 26. Eight wrestlers entered the ring. Eight wrestlers also exited the ring – but four of them were broken shells of their former selves.

In the headlining fight, Alexander Hammerstone took on the Loose Cannon Kenny Lush. After a heated verbal debate over who was sexier – obviously Hammerstone – the real fighting began.

The scales tipped back and forth as these two titans battled it out. Just when it looked like Hammerstone had the upper hand, Lush pulled a fast one and brought out the two other villains of the night, Devastation Pain and the All American Azeem the Dream.

Hammerstone was no match for these three desperadoes and it looked like his goose was cooked. Pinned under Devastation Pain and Azeem the Dream with the Loose Cannon setting his sights on the kill, the night could not have looked darker for this Thor-like demigod. But just as Hammerstone was about to go down for the final count, the ref got in there and broke up this criminally illegal fight in the nick of time.

Not willing to walk away with a technical win, Hammerstone threw down the gauntlet and challenged Lush to a six-on-six tag team. The crowd could not believe what they were witnessing.

Before the tag team match ended the night, the Hall sisters took to the ring to work out some sibling rivalries. Apparently this is therapeutic for them.

Rookie Liiza Hall did a good job holding her own against her older and more experienced sister Bambi, but Bambi wasn’t in the mood to win any mom points. She dominated the ring, thrashing Liiza from rope to rope, body slamming her and choking her with her own arms. She even stopped for a photo halfway through this familial destruction.

The men were back in the ring for the closing fight – the six-on-six tag team ultra match.

Earlier in the night, the Thunder from Jalandhar took down Azeem the Dream and Kobra Kai wiped the mats with Devastation Pain. In the six-on-six tag team, Thunder and Kobra Kai teamed up with Hammerstone while the Dream and the Pain joined forces with Lush for some serious retribution.

Pandemonium broke out as all six wrestlers went head to head. Insults were hurled, punches were thrown, body slams off the top rope were doled out generously. The fighting spilled out of the ring and into the audience but when the dust settled, Hammerstone, the Thunder from Jalandhar and Kobra Kai stood victorious while their antagonists slunk off to Gilligan’s Pub to drown their sorrows. The champions also went to Gilligan’s to celebrate their victories, which was probably a bit awkward.

Hammerstone has been wrestling for five years; he’s from the United States and said he was honoured to fight in Canada.

“Feels great,” Hammerstone said. “I’m actually based out of America so to come up here in Canada and get to work the different towns and do my thing – it’s awesome. To be accepted the way I am, it’s very humbling. It’s a very good time.”

The Loose Cannon – who grew up in 100-Mile House – is already planning for his next fight with Hammerstone.

“I don’t think I’d try to go strength for strength because he’s obviously a very strong man,” Lush said. “But I think I’d have to utilize some submission on him, break him down a little bit. Make him suffer.”

Lush ended the interview with maniacal laughter.
