On May 4, in the gym at Chatelech Secondary, two fantastic teams of girls, coached by the dynamic duo of Sara Shutz and Jan Fitzsimmons, gathered to play in a series of round robin style games, parents/coaches versus the girls teams.
It was on in every way as the girls welcomed all the parents and family members and looked forward to showcasing their well-earned talents in a friendly tournament of smiles and volleys.
With the teams mixed up and the parents remembering the good ol’ days of their spry youth, it was the perfect finale to this group’s great season.
They placed amazingly well at the recent provincial championships and are looking forward to continuing to develop into another force from the Coast.
